Keeping an open mind


The date with the Boss 1.0 went ok, thought there would be a possible second date until I got this text. He was being a little flirty with me admitting that he groomed himself in case the date went really well. LIKE HELLLOOO!!!!!! I reminded him that we weren't going to hook up. But whatever..

My friend advised that I should keep an open mind and not go for looks. As long as I am compatible with them, who cares what they looked like? In one night, I had three friends send me a Tiktok video on a speed dating opportunity from Single in the City. I thought, hey why not!? So, I signed up for the Oakville location thinking maybe these would be home owners. lol.

When I first entered, I had immediate regret! As I scanned the room the women were all dressed up, spent time on their looks; while some of the guys just looked like they threw something on from the floor while others tried to muster up to dress up. 
Originally I signed up for 27 to 38 professionals because I wanted someone young. Then immediately after I signed up, I thought no I don’t want a young professional who is still looking to "find themselves", so I reached out to them to get it changed to 35 to 40 something.. but looking at the crowd. Maybe I should have stayed with the young professionals.

Omg before the event even started, there was a guy named Reza! He got kicked out for being drunk. He clearly predrank because the bar had just opened. He said he was going to "DESTROY" the organizer on Club House. Like buddy, no one is on Club House, no one fucking cares. What's he going to say? That he got kicked out for being drunk? The organizer was super calm and told him he was embarrassing himself. I honestly thought it was a joke because it was so ridiculous.

I am gladly I gave this a try though, I had a good time. It was fun while it lasted. I have been matched up with 4 people. So, lets see where this goes. I only remember two of them, so this will be interesting.

Slowly Being Ghosted??

 Not too sure what happened after date 3.. He was all of a sudden a lot busier.. didn't message as much. I sort of understood where he was coming from.. He doesn't trust his trainers so I guess he has taken on more clients, considering he charges $250/hour that goes straight to his pockets. We were supposed to go on date 4 on Thursday because on Friday, I was going to Chicago.... but he had messaged Thursday afternoon to tell me he's not in a condition to meet up and have a conversation.. and slowly.. the messages are far and in between... sus?  I went on Bumble because I was falsely hopeful yet again... My work friend have gone on some amazing dates (she pays for Bumble, I should real pay at least for two month).
