Yup! In My Head We Are MARRIED!
After the meeting him at the bar on Tuesday he had asked me if I wanted to meet up with him on Saturday.. Of course I said sure. I was excited the whole week.
When Saturday came, we were supposed to go to a local tapas restaurant. while I was waiting for him I noticed his friend there. I said hi to him and he told me he was waiting for Kangta.. I thought, 'What the hell?? is this not a date??' then was sort of upset. He called me as he got near and explained that his friend called him because he was having a shitty day and wanted to come out (check - compassion). The tapas restaurant was busy, so we went to the bar we went to on Tuesday night. They had a promotion going on, if you ordered a Carlsberg, you can keep the 2 litre cup it came in. Since I don't drink beer he had the beer for me and gave me the cup. They also had Cooler cup in a mason jar, I wanted it, so he took it for me. I loved him for the petty theft!
We went to a bar that has been in the neighbourhood for approx 25 years, I have been living in the area for approx 26 years and I have never been there. That is the day when I found out Kangta LOVES darts and fishing. He taught me how to play darts (check - introducing me to something new). This bar later on became a place where we would always hang out. I went from driving by it everyday to chilling there almost everyday.
I was falling in love with this guy and wanted to spend as much time as possible with him. It turns out in the beginning, I was the only one feeling this way. Later on in our relationship he tells me the first bar meet after our initial meet, was not a date, but he thought of it as chilling with someone cool in the area. Someone he felt immediate connection and was very comfortable with.
Prior to meeting Kangta, I was on a diet - 30 pounds in 30 days. I was doing well.. after I met him, I thought spending time with him was more important than working out! A decision I now regret!
