Online Dating - Self Advertising!

When you're online dating, there are those looking for a relationship and there are those looking for hook ups. I guess a hook up is a hook up no matter who it is.. BUT.. don't you feel better when a good looking guy asks if you want to hook up?! It's like in high school when the good looking quarter back asks you out on a date. That's wayyy better than the captain of the chess club or wood shop club asking you out (although these people can be really attractive as well, I'm basing it on Hollywood stereotypes).

I recently changed my profile to state that I am NOT looking for a hook up. It also states to message me if you know how to read!

I get the message below.

So CLEARLY!!! He did not read my profile, or maybe he can't read?! Saw the picture and thought, definitely captain of the chess club... well he has balls.. unfortunately it was a straight; BLOCK - DELETE.

The kid looks like he's 21; There are over 140,000 people online at any given time. With online dating, a picture is everything! You need to give people a reason to message you and/or message you back. It's the ultimate self advertising. You want to look your best to attract the best.

This is my picture profile nono's list, this may not apply to everyone:
- picture of you in 90's slushy pants
- picture of you smoking/blowing smoke included
- picture of you drinking beer, we get it.. You're of age!
- multiple pictures of you with multiple people and not labeling who you are.
- pictures of girls hanging off of you. It's fine to have pictures with your female friends, but we don't need to see you're a "chick magnet"

Slowly Being Ghosted??

 Not too sure what happened after date 3.. He was all of a sudden a lot busier.. didn't message as much. I sort of understood where he was coming from.. He doesn't trust his trainers so I guess he has taken on more clients, considering he charges $250/hour that goes straight to his pockets.  I went on Bumble because I was falsely hopeful yet again... My work friend have gone on some amazing dates (she pays for Bumble, I should real pay at least for two month). The date that I recently went on.
